VISITORS FROM BRAZIL

We took a quick trip to the ranch last week to meet up with our friends Paulo and Marcelo who were here visiting from Brazil. It was so much fun to see them even though it was so short. We got to the ranch and it was snowy and cold but it didn't stop us from venturing out on the 4 wheelers and freezing to death. We had a lot of fun visiting and catching up.

LIFE AT OUR NEW HOME

We are enjoying being in Albuquerque. Harvey and I spend a lot of our day at home so we are very glad that we have such a big yard to play in. It is great for Harvey to be able to get some of his energy out. It even snowed enough the other day so that we could build a snowman. Harvey added some extra arms and put his special touch on it. Jay on the other hand spends most of his day at school. If he has time he gets to work in his shop a little bit but he is pretty heavy in his school work. Jay has a boy after his own heart who loves to be in the shop and play with any tool that he can get his hands on especially screwbibers (as Harvey calls them). Harvey already has a good tool collection of his own that he loves. Fixing things is one of his favorite things to do.

PLAYING AT THE POND

It snowed a lot at the ranch before we left so we got to play in it a little bit. The pond is one of the only places that the water wasn't frozen so there were always a bunch of ducks there every time we went to check on the pond. We will really miss the ranch!

MORE CHRISTMAS

Harvey had so much fun with his new bike and his mini tramp that the grandparents gave him. There is bound to be something broken before long.

GO SUNS

The day after Casey got home Matt( my brother in law) had a friend that gave my whole family his whole box for the suns game. It was a lot of fun. Jordan and Harvey had a great time running around while we all watched the game. That is the only way to take two, two year olds to a suns game.

THE JOY OF FAMILY PICTURES

I had big plans for the big family christmas picture you know the clothes were well prepared and everything was to be in place for a great family picture by the tree. Well sorry to say it didn't turn out that way. Between Harvey throwing up all over his suit one week and being sick the next week we ended up getting a quick snap shot on our way out the door to church on New Years Eve. Here is the best one and a few of Harvey.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. We were in St. Johns of course and had a great time with both Jay's and my families. Everyone was home in both families this year so there was never a dull moment. The week was spent with family parties, lot's of food, candy train making, visits to santa, and of course an abundance of wonderful gifts. We are so blessed to have such great families to spend the holidays with.

HARVEY TURNS TWO

Harvey turned 2 on November 3rd. We had a Elmo birthday party at the ranch with mom and dad. Harvey blew out the candles and sang himself happy birthday several times. Then of course helped himself to the cake.

HALLOWEEN

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Harvey said he wanted to be a monkey so a monkey he was he had the act and the sounds down great. We had a great time carving pumpkins with grammie and trick or treating with all of his cousins in St. Johns. But Harveys favorite thing to do was answer the door and give candy to the trick or treaters.

FALL

Fall is always fun playing in the leaves, pumpkins and the chilled weather.

OUTING WITH DAD

We love to go out with Jay when ever we get a chance. Harvey especially loves when he gets to ride on Huck with dad.

RAIN SWEET RAIN

This summer it started out so dry but starting about July it started raining and rained about every day till September. It rained about 25 in in those few months it was the most rain anyone had seen there in over 30 years. The grass is up to your knees and the flowers were just amazing. We really enjoyed seeing it. It made a beautiful summer and fall.

COWBOY UP

All this time spent at the ranch has made Harvey into one tuff cowboy.

HEAP REUNION

The Heap reunion at Greens Peak is always one of the excitements of the summer. Harvey and Jordan( Holly's boy) took charge of uncle Boyds 4-wheeler. Harvey and his great grandma Heap(Nana) playing with toys while mom gets some card playing in.
