Well Harvey came running in the house yesterday ecstatic saying there are baby snakes and I caught a frog. Sure enough he had the frog in his hand and he took me out side where he had the hose running and worms were crawling everywhere he said look baby snakes. The poor frog was carried everywhere that day, took a swim in Harvey's little pool, took a spin on Harvey's bike, put in his mouth and I looked out there once and Harvey was bent down and trying to pick it up with his teeth, gross I know but what do you do. Harvey let him down and he escaped into our neighbors yard. (Lucky frog) Harvey was so sad but he was sure there were more to find so he got over it.

Mothers Day/ B-Day

Well we had a great weekend. Jay finished his finals on Thursday yeah!! Then flew to Phoenix for his brothers graduation so Harvey and I headed to St. Johns on my birthday, when I got there my mom had a massage lined up for me so I went and got a massage and then we got something to eat and Casey surprised us and showed up that night. The next day we got my sister in law to watch Harvey and my mom and I got our hair done then Casey meet us for lunch. That night we had a little b-day party. My mom spoiled me! We had a great time. Saturday I helped my mom at the flower shop delivering flowers and my mom made this beautiful arrangement for Jay to give me. Mothers day we spent with both moms and got to see all of the family it was great to be home and have a little break from the everyday life. What a great mom I have and I hope that I can be as good of a mom as she has always been to me!!

Things are good around our house. We have really enjoyed the warm weather and everything turning green it is starting to feel like summer is just around the corner. Jay is starting to see light at the end of the tunnel with school. This semester has been a tuff one for him but only one more week so I think he will make it through it. We are excited for the summer and all that is going on for us. Its been fun to live in a new place and experience new things.

Our last trip to the ranch we went with some friends to hike and hunt horns we had a great time. Its always nice to just get out and enjoy the country sometimes! We also went and visited our friends Barney, Camille and Logan who live down by the ranch.

Happy Easter

We stayed in Albuquerque for Easter and had a good time. We got up on Saturday morning to go to the ward Easter egg hunt and it was snowing but we still were able to find some eggs despite the snow. Sunday was a much nicer day. The Easter bunny found Harvey and we had a Easter egg hunt and had some friends over for dinner. We attempted to get a picture after church but again this is the best we got. Harvey only poses if there are sticks involved and the dog would not leave us alone oh well.

Well Spring has sprung and Harvey is loving the nice weather. It seems that he spends most of his day outside exploring out in the yard and for some reason he will not keep his clothes on. Every time I turn around off goes the clothes , he hops on his bike and off he goes. Thank goodness we have some space in between our neighbors. Yesterday I went out to check on him and I found him on this big pile of sand that is in the yard and he was naked of course and sliding down it on his stomach. Oh to be two again. We went to AZ this past week for my grandma's funeral and to see everyone it was so much fun. Then we went to the ranch to meet Jay. We had quite the road trip from Mesa to St. Johns then to the ranch and back to Albuquerque. When we got home Harvey got out of the truck and went and sat on his tramp and started telling me his plans for the day it went something like this. Ill jump on the tramp then Ill ride my bike then I'll play in the water with the hose then I'll run around the yard naked. I couldn't help but laugh. He is quite the character.

It finally warmed up enough so we visited the zoo and the aquarium. Harvey loved them both. He even got to see some alligators ( his favorite animal) and we watched them feed the polar bears. It was a fun day and always good to get out and see something new!

ADVENTURES IN POTTY TRAINING

Well the potty training has began and what an experience for the both of us! Harvey has it down good(when he feels like it) and boy my patience is being tested. After a few weeks of my refusing to get the diapers out and us budding heads he is finally realizing that it is a good thing to be able to go by himself and he is into being a big boy and wants to do everything w/o my help. He gets very annoyed at me if I ask him if he needs to go to the bathroom. It has to be his idea. That must be his dad coming out in him. Ha ha!

VISITORS FROM BRAZIL

We took a quick trip to the ranch last week to meet up with our friends Paulo and Marcelo who were here visiting from Brazil. It was so much fun to see them even though it was so short. We got to the ranch and it was snowy and cold but it didn't stop us from venturing out on the 4 wheelers and freezing to death. We had a lot of fun visiting and catching up.

LIFE AT OUR NEW HOME

We are enjoying being in Albuquerque. Harvey and I spend a lot of our day at home so we are very glad that we have such a big yard to play in. It is great for Harvey to be able to get some of his energy out. It even snowed enough the other day so that we could build a snowman. Harvey added some extra arms and put his special touch on it. Jay on the other hand spends most of his day at school. If he has time he gets to work in his shop a little bit but he is pretty heavy in his school work. Jay has a boy after his own heart who loves to be in the shop and play with any tool that he can get his hands on especially screwbibers (as Harvey calls them). Harvey already has a good tool collection of his own that he loves. Fixing things is one of his favorite things to do.

PLAYING AT THE POND

It snowed a lot at the ranch before we left so we got to play in it a little bit. The pond is one of the only places that the water wasn't frozen so there were always a bunch of ducks there every time we went to check on the pond. We will really miss the ranch!

MORE CHRISTMAS

Harvey had so much fun with his new bike and his mini tramp that the grandparents gave him. There is bound to be something broken before long.

GO SUNS

The day after Casey got home Matt( my brother in law) had a friend that gave my whole family his whole box for the suns game. It was a lot of fun. Jordan and Harvey had a great time running around while we all watched the game. That is the only way to take two, two year olds to a suns game.
