Its been nice to have a little warm after so long of cold, even though there has been a lot of very windy and cold days we have enjoyed the nice ones. The boys have been in full force catching horny toads, lizards and toads there new favorite place is a big puddle down at the creek where they have been catching water dogs and salamanders. At one point we had a salamander, water dog two toads, and 3 horny toads. The boys have been in heaven. We were catching water dogs one day at this pretty deep hole and the next thing I know colten went in head first. I practically had to go in after him so that he wouldn't drown. When he came up out of the water I asked him what he was doing and he said " I was trying to get the water dog. Thus explains the picture above of him in his crocks and diaper. What a little boy heaven! We have also been doing a lot of hiking. Spring time means horns dropping off the elk. Jay has been a few times with some friends and Ive gone a few times. It is just nice to get out and it helps to find a few horns too.
