SPRING

I am so excited for spring to be here. There are so many things I love about spring. The flowers and blossoms, all the green coming out and of course the beautiful weather. It just gives me such a great feeling. It has been really nice for the most part, except for those few days of horrible wind but I guess living where we do it is expected. We have had a fun few weeks enjoying spring break and celebrating Easter with our families.
We had a fun Easter Picnic out at the sand wash with my family, cousins and grandparents
Harvey had a great time hunting eggs and playing with his cousins.

Today Colten is 2 weeks old it seems like time is already going by so quickly. It has been an eventful few weeks we have had lots of visitors. Jen and my mom and dad were here the day he was born, then Casey and Mckelle came for the weekend, then Holly flew out this past weekend. Both my mom and Jay's mom tag teamed Harvey in St. Johns for the week and Jay and I enjoyed the quite and the time to spend with the baby while I recovered a little bit. Yesterday Jay's mom and Kristen came and brought Harvey back. We really appreciate all the help from our great families! It has been so much fun to see everyone. It has been so fun to see Harvey interact with Colten. He is so great with him and just can't get enough of him. He just keeps saying," he is so cute ,I love him" and he can't get over how little everything is. The other day Colten was in the swing and started crying and I can here Harvey from the other room yelling its ok baby pan and next thing I know here he comes down the hall with undies and pants at his ankles with a rubber duck in his hand and sets it in the swing with Colten and tells him everything will be alright then heads back to the bathroom to finish his business. It was so funny. We are just so happy to have this sweet little baby in our home. We just can't get enough of him.

WEDDING

Casey got married December 27th in the Mesa Temple. It was so awesome!   His reception was down there the next night and then we went back to St. Johns for New Years. There was an open house on the 4th at my parents which turned out great.  It was all a lot of fun and so great to be able to spend so much time with everyone.  We are so excited to have Mckelle in our family.

CHRISTMAS

More Animals!!
How does this work mom?

Harvey and Jordan watching a movie

Christmas was a lot of fun this year.  We were in St. Johns of course. Most of the siblings were home and we had lots of fun at our family parties and seeing everyone.  Harvey was really fun this year he was really big into Santa clause except when it came to sitting on his lap at Nana and papa's house.  He was like the kid on the "Christmas story"  he forgot everything he wanted until he was done talking with Santa.  Then he wanted to go back and talk to him again.  He added to his collection of animals and got a clear pack pack (as he calls it) to carry them in.  It had to go everywhere with us.  He wouldn't even take it off for Casey's wedding pictures.  Thanks to our parents and everyone for the great gifts and the wonderful company.  We had a great Christmas!

HARVEY TURNS THREE

Harvey with our friend Shared. More animals hooray!
Dinosaurs!!

Yes its a centipede cake

Harvey turned three on November 3rd. We had a little party for him and his only request was that I make him a centipede cake. I really don't know why it wasn't a snake or some other animal but for weeks before every time I would ask him what kind of cake he wanted he said a centipede so here is my best effort to make one. Harvey got a whole tool box full of animals, worms, frogs and dinosaurs along with a few trucks. He is also learning how to play his new memory game and has beat Jay and I a few times. When ever people called to tell him Happy birthday he would say first Happy Birthday and the cutest thing when we were eating breakfast that morning he blessed the food and said " thanks for the food and thanks for me Harvey" it was so cute Jay and I were trying not to laugh.
